Our Guatemalan cacao comes from a Mayan women’s collective - the only indigenous woman run business in their community. The cacao beans are gently toasted over a fire (just enough to loosen the shell), hand peeled, and milled with love by the wonderful women in this collective.
Directions: Place 1-2 squares of cacao in a mug with hot water, half full. Add sweetener and spices to taste (optional). Use a milk frother to blend all ingredients together. Top off the mug with hot water or milk.
Alternatively, mix all ingredients together in a blender (with caution). Enjoy!
